Something at Port Hudson
In Response To: Whitworth at Raymond ()

I found a letter dated March 26, 1863 to Maj. Gen. Richard Taylor saying, "I am instructed to say also that the lieutenant-general [Pemberton] has sent some light breech-loading pieces to Port Hudson, which Major-General Gardner has instructions to turn over to you." from W. H. McCardle
Assistant Adjutant-General.

What are these?
