I know you spelled it Wigginton, but check out these two Wiggingtons who were paroled after Vicksburg:

Pvt. J. A Wiggington, Co.D, 9th Ark Inf
Pvt. Warrin (Warren?) Wiggington, Co.C, 43rd GA Inf

Both were paroled while in the hospital after Vicksburg.
