You sure do have some interesting stores, Linda. The one soldier I was looking for from Pennsylvania is probably buried at the camp, without a marker. The Confederate soldier I'm trying to find was a Lieutenant in the 42nd Mississippi, and was wounded on the first day of battle, but died later of the wounds. One date on records shows July 20th. He must have been taken to a field hospital at Gettysburg, so it seems like they would have known who he was. His servant returned to Mississippi to report to the family that he was seriously wounded, but they were not able to go to him. I have called several cemeteries, and am beginning to think he is in an unmarked grave. His name was Lt. William H. Harmon, Company I, 42nd Mississippi Infantry.
