I believe the people that transferred the records to the Muste Card numbering system wrote down what they wanted .Ex. My Pvt Needham H Temples records show Sick in hospital. Yet his brother Pvt Lorenzo J Temples records show Sick in Hospital at Lauderdale Springs, Ms
for the same dates 30 aug - 30 Oct 1862. Needham's Nov - Dec card only shows Died 20 Oct 1862. Both records were transferred by a J. Buckly.
