Lisa, I found the following info on Rootsweb search:

Land Record record for FORD Butler
Name: FORD Butler
Date: 01 03 1858
Location: AL,
Document #: 13471
Serial #: AL4430__.272
Sale Type: CASH ENTRY SALE
Acres: 80.1500
Meridian or Watershed: ST STEPHENS
Parcel: Township 17N, Range 27E, Section 21

Also, the info on Ellisville, MS, exists in our family discussions. However, it has never been verified.

Mary Lucinda Smith was indeed my great great grandmother. One of the records has part of the family story. It is incomplete.

Thanks, James
