Hello. In regard to the wife, it seems she was a Graham.
My nephew is working on the Graham family genealogy right now.

When he was a child, he did not pay attention, and how he wishes he had. The Grahams we are interested in lived along the Mississippi-Tennessee line.
There is also a story of a Graham that went to battle at Shiloh near where the family lived. It is our understanding at this late date that he was not military but simply someone who went out to try and fight back the Union army. He apparently was lost in that fight and never came home again.
What we are dealing with is oral history more than anything else.
