The soldier who served in Co. "A", 10th Confederate Cavalry was named Dallas Polk Estes. A long-time resident of Chambers County AL, Estes died there in 1916. The regiment included men from Georgia and east Alabama.
A man named B. E. Estens served in Co. "G", 14th Mississippi Regiment. Copies of his military service file are available here --
