I'm trying to find out what might have happened to my great grandfather's younger brother, William M. Johnson. He was born in about 1841/42 in Jefferson Co., Alabama. In 1860, he was still living in the home of his sister, in Pontotoc Co., Mississippi, along with an older brother, and his mother. But after that, I do not know what happened to him. I believe that he might have been in the Confederate Army and perhaps he was killed. Any help on this wil be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
