Our Huffman line is a dead end.

My father is Jep Hugh Huffman of Pike County, MS.

My grandfather (coincidentally) was Clinton Clyde (!) Huffman, born Washington Parish, LA.

My Great-Grandfather was Jeptha Gassaway Huffman of Pike County/Washington Parish.

My GG-Grandfather was Warren M. Huffman of St. Helena/Washington Parish and Pike County.

My GGG-Grandfather was John Huffman of SE LA (various places) who died in the Mexican War. (Buried in Puebla, Mexico.)

My GGG-Grandfather was (conjecturally) Daniel Huffman/Hoffman of Pike County/St. Helena Parish.

My GGGG-Grandfather was (conjecturally) one John Huffman of St. Helena Parish.

I would be thrilled to find out that you know more about my life of Huffmans/Hoffmans, but I have been unable to trace them further back than Mexican War vet John Huffman.
