If you have continued your research you should find that the battle mentioned at Lickskillet Rd. occurred on July 28, 1864 and is also referred to the Battle of Ezra Church and sometimes the action at the Poor House. The battle was the fourth time Hood was able to take a great army and destroy it by attacking a superior force in a fortified position with little or no plan. The first being Kolb's Farm June 22nd prior to his replacing of Johnston on the eve of the Battle of Peachtree Creek July 20th and then just two days later at the Battle of Atlanta.
