For Tom Parson:

Off the subject, I visited Corinth in 2001 and by accident, in the qounset hut museum, I met a guide by the name of Hugh Horton. We hit it off and he gave me a free tour of the CW sites in/and around Corinth. I was there walking in the footsteps of my great grandfather in the 4th MN Inf. and wanted to find the location of the camp he was in for some time in 62, Camp Clear Creek, and he directed me to the location of it on the hill SE of town a few miles. That unit did 1st and 2nd Corinth plus Iuka in the middle of that battle and on the right flank of the U.S. line at 2nd Corinth.

Is Hugh still around?? We both were in the 6th Army , but at different times. He did the Phillipines in '44.

Thanks.
