Virginia,
As Alan stated, our Visitor Center is located in Corinth adjacent to the site of Battery Robinett. The Center opened four years ago and has three large rooms of exhibits, a research library, an artifact room, a theatre, and two films; one on the Battle of Shiloh, the other on the Siege & Battle of Corinth. Currently the park stands on a 17 acre site to the west of the historic district but we will we growing dramaticaly this Fall. Over 750 acres are being donated to the park by the local preservation group, The Friends of the Siege and Battle of Corinth. The acreage, on 14 different sites, preserve much of the remaining earthworks which played a vital role in both the siege and the battle. The Interpretive Center is a Unit of Shiloh National Military Park and is open 8:30 to 4:30 every day but Christmas.
