Hi George! No, I didn't know! I am an expert on global oil production and can give you good estimates for production in 2028, but this civil war stuff, I am dumber than a frog. After reading your post, I found some site where I found the U.S. Dept, Graves registration, or something and something and clicked on to John Renick, Bethel, Hickory Flat, and I was shocked it said "U.S.Army Civil War." I think my cousin has made a mistake. There is no John Renick, and maybe no one in that grave. I also found Thomas J. Renick's service record. He did not return from the war. I thought it was his uncle Thomas S. Renick that did not return. It was Thomas J. Renick. He got sick and went into a hospital in KY. He never returned. So my cousin Mark, got the headstone but there is no one in the grave. I didn't think there were many Renick's. We dang Renick's are like fleas! We've spread everywhere! There are hundreds or Thousands and Millions of Renick's. John Renick, there's tons of them. I searched for William H. Renick (Harrod), and get a return of thousands of William H. Renick. He disappeared in 1840. But I know his dad James Renick was born in Scotland 1753 and died in Lincoln Co Ky. 1838. Who would want to marry a Renick? William H. Renick lived in York, SC, Lincoln Co. Ky. Davidson Co. TN, Robinson Co. TN. Shelby Co. TN, (caught in an Alabama Census for a short time), Fayette Co. TN. Hardemen Co. TN. and I can't find where he buried. Then the skunk married 4 times, maybe 5, because maybe each wife was having 10 kids each and they birth themselves to death! How can you move that many times and have that many wifes?
