The names of Lindsey's father was indeed William A. Partridge whose wife was Martha. She could not have been his mother because she was too young to have given birth to him. I believe that Lindsey's mother died and he married Martha when Lindsey was a small child, but have not found his biological mother. I really think that William A.'s first wife (name unknown, but could be "Martha") died and left him with three young sons to raise, and William A. then married Martha who not only raised these three sons, but gave birth to several more children. I do have the names of those children, if you would like to have them.
