Dear Friend,

I have searched the 1850 census record from everywhere (until I am nearly blind) and had not found this family. How in the world did you find this?? I would never had thought to look for them under a name beginning with a "B" but you did it!

Thank you so much for giving me this. I am so excited! This is the only census where I have found Lindsey, except in the Civil War Records, and HE was not a SHE. That happened a lot with census takers, especially when the name is used for either male or female. And, I was surprised to see that apparently James M. and Lindsey were twins. What do you think?

I agree with you on Lindsey's age, because his service records show that he enlisted when he was 26 in 1861.

Now, the big question: Are we related? We must be somehow or you would not have this info and gone out of your way to share it. Let me know; I love finding cousins!

Mozelle
