Wonderful site of soldiers who served.
Just wish that I could find mine also.
I had read it on the outside chance that I would fnd my ggg uncle, Michael Owen Guthrie
of the 10th Arkansas, who was shot at Shiloh.
I feel he was one of those who probably was loaded on a train, or whatever and left out.
If Owen was lucky, he probably died soon after being shot.
Terrible thing to say, but knowing how hard war can be and just imagine, no medication
or anything to help. I would think Owen Guthrie ended up in one of those trenches.
I remember that when my mother and I visited Shiloh a long time back and she could not get over
how they treated our boys. She would have really been upset, if she had realized, her uncle was there.
I too am interested in Needham Temples who is Tom Temple's ancestor and also
one of my relatives.
