My g-g-grandfather, Richard W. Cole, was with the 5th Mississippi Cavalry. He was killed in the Battle at Fort Pillow, Tennessee on 12 April 1864. Does anyone know where the Confederate dead from that battle were buried? Two cousins and I have done extensive research trying to find where they were buried with no results. If you have any information, please help us.
