D.S.Stafford, soldier with Ms Inf 109-43rd regiment-Co G was paroled at the siege of Vicksburg July 7,1863.
July 8 1864 he was reported as being under arrest(possibly for AWOL/Desertion).Did the 43rd regroup after they were
paroled in Vicksburg and if so where would I find this information? Where can I find info on D.S. Stafford if he was Court Marshalled? I haven't been able to locate him in any records since that time.
