Now that I have read your message a little closer. Four things jump out.

First, I am not sure of the relationship of John Henderson Parker and the other Parkers, but considering they were all in companies that were made up of men from mostly Franklin and Amite counties, it is very likely. Our listing in the "Lest We Forget Roster" for John H. Parker Co. K 7th Miss. and later Co. C. 9th Battn. Miss. Sharpshooters follows:

"Parker, John H. Pvt. transferred to Co. C 9th Battn Miss. SS; drew pension. (See John Parker)[See also James Henderson Parker-Photo]" There is the possibility that John Henderson Parker's photo could be mistakenly identified as James Henderson Parker.

Second, I believe the Parker's of the 7th Miss. were from either Amite or Franklin County. There may have been more than one William Henderson Parker in the 7th Miss. and he could have been from Choctaw County, but so far they appear to be the same man.

Third, I don't know if they were twins because I don't know for certain if the Parker's from Choctaw county are the same as ours. What I do know is that William Henderson Parker and Joel Parker were brothers and they served in Co. C and K 7th Miss. W.H. Parker was also in Co. E for a time. That indicates that he was most likely from Franklin Co. because most of the men in Co. E were from Franklin County and most of the men in Co. K were from Franklin and Amite County. If there were two W.H. Parkers, I would not be surprised if they were related. It appears that Henderson was a family name since three Parkers have the same middle name. Then throw in James Henderson Parker and you have four.

William Henderson Parker and Joel Parker were related to Capt. Daniel Henderson Parker of Co. E. They were also uncles of Winston W.E. Byrd of Co. A, also from Franklin County, who surrendered as 4th Corp NC [he was of son of Elizabeth B. Parker and Willis BYRD (son of Needham Byrd and Rebecca Magee) of Franklin County, MS. Elizabeth was the sister of William Henderson Parker and Joel Parker of Co. C and Co. K 7th Miss.]Captain Parker was a half brother to Judge Thomas J. Magee and probably related to Rebecca Magee.

Fourth, I wonder if James H. Parker of Co. F. 7th Miss. who was captured at Big Shanty, GA as a member of the 22nd Miss. is related. I also wonder what the "H" stands for.
