Thanks George. I'm afraid I screwed up the number of the Regiment, It's probably the 55th USCT I'm looking for. The 57th was the number of my ggranddaddy's (and gggrandaddy too) Alabama Inf Regt. I don't have my troop lists available. I just moved and its in storage and my memory obviously wasn't good enough. I'll ask again when I can be sure. Thanks again.
