I am looking for information on Henry Davenport, Capt. 42nd Mississippi. I corresponded a number of years ago with someone who had letters in a family archive related to the 42nd and Henry, as well as his family (lived in Jacinto, MS). I would love to hear from this person again, or anyone who may have info. Henry's brother was Stephen, 26th MS, "assassignated" outside Fulton, MS, 1863. Stephen was my g-g-grandfather. Any info on him appreciated as well.
