And another detail. The big difference between Lee's Army at Appomattox and Taylor's was, Taylor was only with his escort and staff at Citronelle, his "Army" was scattered from Shubuta to Meridian to Gainesville and all other places nearby, but only dozen or so of his people at Citronelle, and only he and one or two others at Magee's Farm for the surrender.
