I've been looking so hard for several years for John Lott, bet.1800-1840 in Mobile, AL and died comming home from the Civil War with either one or two of his brothers. I don't know where he's buried, but the family says he was on his way home from Tennessee when he died. Did his family bring him home and bury him? I don't know.
His family was living in the Lawrence, Covington, Perry, and Forrest County areas in Mississippi at the time of the Civil War. I'm at a total dead end with this. If anyone can inform me of his grave or information regarding his service, please let me know. Thank you!
