Just to let ever one know, that with the of The Blue & Gray Education Society we have put up 8 interpretive markers telling the story of the Van Dorn Raid on Holly Springs
You start on the square with an over view of the raid and then travel around town the see the sites where the action took place. Also we know that the Texas Cav. was here because uniform buttons have been found in Union camp area where action took place. I hope in the future interpretive markers could be put up along the route of the raid. Jim Thomas
