Re: Lemuel Sutton - 1793 - 186 ?

To Alan Pitts . . .
That is a great find . . . for someone who is missing this particular Elizabeth Sutton in Tishomingo county. However, this is not my Elizabeth. The people in her family do not match up. Elizabeth V.'s first marriage was to a King in 1836. With him she had two daughters: Catherine and Rebecca King b. 1837 and 1839 respectively. In 1845 she married William Lockridge and had two more children: Amanda Violet and James S. Lockridge b. 1845 and 1847 respectively. In 1850 she married Lemuel Sutton and had four, maybe five children: Wesly b. abt 1854, Ella b. 11 Feb 1856, Ada b. 16 Apr 1858 and William b. Aug 1860. She should have had these people listed with her in 1860. I appreciate your help, though. Thank you . . .

Lynn R. Hudson
2nd great-Granddaughter of Lemuel Sutton
