It seems possible that she could have been tending wounded soldiers in Corinth MS.

The record of Amos Warfield shows that he entered Confederate service on Nov. 1, 1862, as post quartermaster at Columbia TN. Serving only briefly on the staff of General Van Dorn, Major Warfield presented himself as being on Van Dorn's staff when captured at Russellville AL, Mar. 24, 1865. For several months Warfield was the post quartermaster at Decatur AL, being on duty elsewhere in North Alabama after the town was captured in March 1864.
