Wirt-Daniel Adams????

I am seeking to clarify or solidify an issue involving the Adams brothers, Daniel and Wirt. Here is the controversy: There appears to be no photograph of Daniel Adams during the war but there appears to be one of Wirt Adams. Take for example the most famous book putting forth this, Generals in Gray. Notice that for the picture of Wirt there is a close up photograph. For Daniel there is a sketch drawing of some sort that is prewar. The photograph of Wirt is from the side but there is also another photograph floating around, that is supposedly Wirt, that is taken more of at an angle (not the side view as of Wirt's pic in Generals in Gray). There are TWO sources that label this as Daneil Adams, though. One source that pinpoints that picture as Daniel is from a Confederate veteran from the Washington Artillery. This unit served under Adams from August 1862 - September 1863. It seems as though the men of this battery would know their brigade commander? The second source that labels the angled picture as Daniel is Tulane University...odd that they would have it mislabeled.

I write all this because I am seeking more wartime photograhs of Wirt to compare to the two photographs in question and also track down the original sources of the two photographs.
