Does any one in here happen to have a good copy or transcription of Brig. Gen. S.A.M. Wood's original resignation letter that he rendered in early Oct. 1863 following his "fallout" with Cleburne regarding issues as a result of his performance (or inplied "lack of it" and cowardice) during the Battle of Chickamauga? A copy from the Library of Congress is almost impossible to transcribe due to poor quality (too dark).
