I'm trying to be as accurate as I can in gathering Anderson's military
service records.
When the VA supplies a headstone, they insist that the last unit he was in
is the one they put on the inscription...seems a little misleading to me
as he didn't serve in the 28th aslong as he did the 8th. But they have
their reasons.
I'm just glad his grave is being marked. He is my great-grandmother's brother.
