Civil War Vets buried in LaFAYETTE Co., MS

The Old Liberty Cemetery in Lafayette Co, MS is one of the oldest in the area, dating to the mid 1840's. Many of the county's earliest citizens are buried there. Efforts are underway now to restore and renovate this long neglected cemetery, conduct a thorough new census, and to determine if the site meets the qualifications to be designated as an historic cemetery. In addition, any man resting there that can be proven to be a war veteran will be so honored. Approximately two dozen family surnames (listed below)have been identified so far, including one War of 1812 veteran and several Civil War veterans.

If you have a family surname below and are aware of ancestors buried in Old Liberty Cemetery in Lafayette Co., MS (near Oxford), or believe it is possible, please respond to this post.
