Thanks for the info it's amazing how family stories get passed down. Iwent to that house when i was a little boy. My father and I were looking for bullet holes on the front poarch. Stories say that Union soilders came by the house and shot into the poarch to scare the ladies of the house. I guess it worked and they were captured.The funny thing is that while we were looking I stepped on a loose board and it flew up and hit a hornets nest.Them suckers came out and stung the #### out of me and we left. That house sits right on the Miss /Tenn boarder. Wonder if it stands today? I will look into where he stayed in imprisionment. Ido know that he survived that.
