My gg grandfather was Jerimah D. Pearce, formerly of Mifflin, Tennessee.
Pearce fought with the 8th Arkansas CSA being wounded at Shiloh.
Then, Sgt. Jerry Pearce fought to the bitter end in 1865.
My cousin has proven this family history way back and if you are not in touch
