Dianne, If you are referring to Andrew Jackson Boyd of Attala County, Mississippi (b. 4 June 1840; d. 8 Aug, 1878), son of Mississippi State Senator, John D. Boyd, he is buried in Kosciusko City Cemetery, in Kosciusko, the County Seat of Attala County. My data on this Andrew Jackson Boyd does not include his being a member of Wirt Adams Regiment, but that is a possibility. Note, also, my date of death is different than yours. Are you sure of the 1862 d.o.d.?
