Usually an ADC during the war to Crittenden, Johnson, Hood. Was enrollment officer at Brookhaven, MS after Shiloh when he lost his job due to Crittenden on his way out of the war due to drunkeness. He did lead company 50th TN Inf. at Battle of Raymond, led some MS State Militia Cav riding on flanks and rear of Col Grierson's raiders. Have lots on his service except for MS time. I tend his grave along with 165 other CW vets at Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery, CA.
