Re: Joseph Perrin Hughes
In Response To: Re: Joseph Perrin Hughes ()

I believe my Aunt Ethel Nunley who lived in Carroll County took me to his grave back in the 1970s; however, I have gone through the Carroll Co Cemetery records and I do not see him. Of course, I could have missed him. I found his son Joseph Perrin Hughes and I wonder if the person writing the cemetery list thought she had the same person twice and eliminated one. I recall finding the son's grave first an then going into the old part of the cemetery and finding the father's grave. I have ask for Carroll County lookups and got no answers. I will try posting on the site you gave me and see if I get any response. I need death information on Joseph Perrin Hughes and his wife Phella Bains (Dent) Hughes for Colonial Dames papers. I do think Joseph is buried in Carroll County, but I have seen no trace of Phella.

I appreciate everyone's response.
