Do you have any information on the uniforms of the 43rd? The 19th Alabama reenacting unit will be portraying the 43rd during a living history encampment here at the Interpretive Center. They are anxious to properly portray the 43rd and want to bring the correct uniform items. You might want to come out that weekend; we will have a live camel filling the role of "Old Douglas". The date is November 7th, which is the day we will placing 12,000 luminaries around the visitor center and in the historic district. And if that isn't enough to entice you we will have Bobby Horton performing in the auditorium.
