In Response To: George W. Frazies ()

Which George W Frazier? The son of Richerson or the son of John Lewis? We are in the Frazier line from Lewis Frazier, Richerson Frazier, John Lewis Frazier (b. 1821 d @1886)....

I'm looking to confirm some information on John Lewis Frazier from the Civil War, but haven't gotten very far. I don't even have a reliable date of death. His wife (Catherine Reaves Frazier b. 24 Sep 1821 d. 08 Jun 1903) and is buried in Central Baptist Cemetery in Argo, AL but John Lewis Frazier is not buried with her.

From what I have gathered off the internet John Lews Frazie served in Co. E, Barbiere's AL Cavalry Bn. from 1862-1865 under Capt Thomas K. Truss (whom I'm assuming is related as one of his aunt's married a "Truss"). However, I don't have any supporting documentation to prove this.

Any information you have would be appreciated!

Thanks!
