I found a cemetary in Claiborne County, Mississippi, just off the Natchez Trace near Rocky Springs that has the grave of 2nd Lt. Robert R. Russell, 3rd Bn Missouri Cavalry. He was born in Nodaway Co. Missouri, 13July1817 and died 31Dec1872 in Claiborne Co. Does anyone have additional info about this soldier or his family.
