Trying to research John Jones Caldwell and his son Isaac Herbert Caldwell, said to be in 1st MS Infantry, Co. C.
Also,his other 2 sons James Clark Caldwell and William Pinkney Caldwell were said to be in Co G, 2nd MS Cavalry. John Jones died in Clarksville, TN after the Battle of Fort Donelson. Can anyone suggest some resources I can try, to find more info on these units and ancestors? Thank you!
