Yesterday while doing some research, I found a newspaper article from the early 1900s that has a pre-war picture of William Joseph Eckford, who was captain of Company B in the 13th Mississippi Infantry. Eckford was killed at the Battle of Malvern Hill, Virginia. If anyone would like a copy, let me know, and I will be happy to send it.
