"Pvt. Wm. Gore" in your query was in Capt. Folsom's Co D, First Choctaw Mounted Rifles. The Footnote.com database has incorrectly indexed "Wm. Gore" in Cooper's 1st Choctaw but listed in the Chickasaw Mtd Volunteers. then listed him with the First Choctaw Mtd Rifles. . American Civil War Database. "Wm. Gore" is not listed in any Choctaw or Chickasaw CSA military units in the American Civil War Database.
