At a glance Mrs Clayton and I may be cousins. Not certain at this point, but, I believe she is related to Sgt. John "Snap" Pittman of Co. D who is the brother-in-law of Col. Hamilton Mayson. I will be working with Mrs. Clayton on family connections and will update the group as things progress.
