Is there any information about soldiers who died in the Confederate Hospital in Columbus, especially death dates, cause and disposition of remains? I'm looking for info. about Pvt. John F. Barksdale, Monticello Light Artillery,/Owen's Battery (Arkansas) who died there according to a family letter, probably in 62 or 63. Also, any information about his unit in the first part of the war would be helpful.
