hello, mr. purvis. yes, i was contacted by a lady who is helping her friend with membership into UDC, and learned that david hudson is my GGgrandfather. also, she told me he was a CW soldier. there are so many with this same name, and lot of differences in ages, but i think we have nailed it down to this man. these are names sent to me in that little cemetary. now that you have asked this, maybe you can tell me how do i find out that someone got the proper war markers put on these graves, as they said they would do back about 2002. can you help determine the date of birth, state, and hopefully parents of david hudson? you seem to really have a knack. our Tree shows him born in Georgia. i want to find out if these men were brothers, or cousins, or what, to each other. david h. is my grandmother Emma Carlile Kirk's grandfather. this cemetary is a stone's throw from Hickory Flat town. thank you. NJKirk
