Fifty Division Mississsippi Militia

I have a copy of a document that states that H. V. Davenport was appointed Aid De-Camp in the Fifty Division of Mississippi Milita, with the rank of Major----------- Dated 15 of January 1859. William McWillie Govenor, A.B. Dilworth, Secretary of State. Can any one explain this to me. I have not been able to find any information on the Fifty Division, nor can I find any information on H. V.Davenport. There is a Henry Davenport from Tishomingo County, but he was selected to be a sargent in the 2nd Mississippi Infantry,Co A , then 2nd Lt in Co. E, 42nd Mississippi infantry. So who was H. V. Davenport and what happened to the Fifty Division Militia of Mississippi????
