Sorry, but I was unable to find a Thomas L. McNatt in Alabama, Mississippi, or Tennessee in the S&S System. I did find a Tandy Walker McNutt in Co. A 8th Mississippi Cavalry. Regimental capsule indicates that the cavalry was part of Jeff Forrest's brigade until his death. Later part of General Forrest's cavalry at harrisburg July 1864. This is a long shot, but possible. There was alos a Thomas McNutt in an infantry regiment in Mississippi. I did not look under McNott.
