There is a small village/town called Pearl River, located about 10 miles West of Philadelphia on route 16, see:

Difficult to figure out where he died. This spot does not seem likely. Who knows?

Wonder if he was assigned to the regimental wagon train which may have been lagging behind the regiment proper?
