Been away from here for far too long. I spent the last few years as an online journalist/product reviewer. Reached the burn-out stage some months ago. Been kind of busy, finally had a chance to sit down and do some Civil War research.

On the Civil War front, I recently found my sixth great great grandfather Confederate Veteran, Pvt. John David White, 18th Louisiana Infantry. He was one of my three dead ends.

Looked at the forum for several years back. You guys have really helped a lot of people, congratulations! Hated to see that Art died.
