The Gainesville Volunteers, SCV Camp 373, will be unveiling an historical marker in honor of the Hancock Rebels, Co. C, 38th MS Infantry (Mounted), at 10 AM, Saturday, May 21, at the Pearl River County Welcome Center, I-59 (Northbound side of the highway), near Picayune, MS. The public and uniformed soldiers are welcome. Rifles and artillery are welcome, too. Come held us honor this little band of brothers from our small hometown!
