Hello,
I am trying to determine if John Tilmer Cook (1830-1885) served in a Mississippi regiment during the Civil War. The family thinks he did but I can find no record of him. His brother Hiram C. Cook served in Co. A, 11th Miss. Inf., "The University Grays". Any assistance is most appreciated. He is buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Memphis. Thank you!
